Thanksgiving started like any Thanksgiving morning, busy in the kitchen, bumping into each other, calling out for space and pots and pans!
This Thanksgiving The Penas invited all they're family and friends to join them in a special birthday (November 26 was Alma's birthday)mass for they're sister Alma. Mass took place at 11:00 a.m. Thanksgiving meal was ready as planned, we served at 2 p.m. The house was filled with special savors. Family and friends, everyone enoying each others company and conversation while eating they're wonderfully prepared meal!
Our meal was prepared by many hands, Paul roasted a turkey, made a great brocolli casserole, he & Claudia also made corn bread muffins. I made bread stuffing, and grandma's meat stuffing! And everyone helped warm up corn, green beans, while Mom made the mashed potatoes.
There's an Aggie in the kitchen!
Everyone knows I'm a Longhorn Fan, so what does a Longhorn do to get a meal on game day! She gets an Aggie to cook! ha ha. . . just kidding I asked Mike to help us smoke a turkey on the grill! Actually he's a great cook for an Aggie!Everyone started leaving after dessert, while a few of us enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. Football continued with the Longhorn vs Aggie Game! It was awesome winnings for the Cowboys and Longhorns!
Thanksgiving has come and gone . . . now to prepare for the Holidays!
O my i just finished packing everything . . . now to put out the stockings and the kids favorite ornaments!
