Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Day!  It was a quiet day, it had been planned that our family would celebrate alone this year.  It would give us a chance to sit down together and focus on our family time.  This year was very special because Thanksgiving landed on Joseph's birthday!  Joseph turnes 16!  As we sat at the table we talked about Joseph's younger years.  We recalled his first Thanksgiving and how he grabbed the turkey drumstick and now was Mica's turn to a drumstick.

An hour before our meal, David had come by to visit Joseph and drop a gift for his birthday.  We all relived the story we can't stop repeating ~ Joseph was suppose to be a girl, and what a surprise it was when the Dr. said it was a BOY!   Joseph had no name for three days, it was after the Thanksgiving holiday that we went to record his name at the hospital. We named him Joseph Edgar Cuellar, I chose Joseph from the biblical name Joseph, son of Jacob.  I knew his name was perfect when his Godmother Sarah called me after visiting him (a boy with no name)and said what do you think of the name Joseph.  I immediately said "that's the name I have chosen!"   I knew then his name would carry triumph, leadership, one who is favored by all.  Many blessings to you, Joseph!

More on Thanksgiving. This year Paul saved Thanksgiving, it really turned out to be a family affair.  Paul made the turkey, mom made mashed potatoes, I had to give Joseph instructions on to throw together the cranberry sauce. Claudia and Mica had to help set the table. I was stuck in bed, for the last 3 days I had nosebleeds.  I went to the ER twice in one day.  Thinking I would loose all my blood.  Little did I know that nosebleeds is not considered an emergency, safe to say I wasn't going to die!  What made my nosebleed dramatic was that my pressure was high!  I still have some doctor visits to determine where my bleeding was coming from, but I at least I was at home for Thanksgiving!
