New Year's Eve

Our New Year was embraced in San Antonio, with family.  It was great to visit with family, we had a great time visiting they're new home, eating out, shopping, and we played loteria.  We were so tired from our drive to San Antonio that we were out before 2 a.m.

Mica loved spending time with Irene and Dago too, but she became very attached with Irene.  Dago and Irene had been in McAllen prior us going to San Antonio.  Paul always like to split us into 2 groups the fun side and the boring side!  Ofcourse, he is always on the fun side, (the fun side likes to make midnight runs to Whataburger, and dances in public).  I ofcourse,  am not on the fun side!  So when Dago and Irene came to McAllen, Irene went with Mica and Paul to pick up Whataburger at midnight so Mica invited Irene to be on the fun side! (Dago became part of the boring side) So through out our visit, Mica would ask Irene "your on the funside," and Irene would tell her "come over here funside!.  Every restaurant we ate at they'd sit together; after all they were both on the fun side!  Both bonded when we went out shopping because they had to shop together because they were on the fun side!

The last day in San Antonio, Mica needed a sweater because the weather was getting cooler.  I had forgotten to put her's in at the last minute, so Irene loaned her one of hers!  Now Irene had created a mini me!  Mica now wants to cut her hair like Irene!
