Bible Study

Today's reading: Psalm 49-50, Romans 1 (NIV)

16 Do not be overawed when others grow rich,
   when the splendor of their houses increases;
17 for they will take nothing with them when they die,
   their splendor will not descend with them.

This message brings me to be humble, serves as a reminder that I should not worry about what house I want, but await for the house God has for me.

Romans 1

Talks about the wrath of God, which brings me to acknowledge what God wants of me, and less of worldly actions such as:

 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.
